 The
High Meadows CIT program is open to rising 9th and 10th grade
students who have interest and experience in the High Meadows
Summer Day Camp program. The purpose of the CIT program is threefold:
1. to continue the valuable traditions of High Meadows,
2. to develop a consistent and knowledgeable counseling staff,
and
3. to promote leadership skills among our youth.
The CIT program
requires a two-summer commitment during which candidates are
provided
ongoing training and begin to assume leadership
roles. CIT’s must participate in one session of camp their
first summer, and two sessions of camp their second summer. Invitations
to the CIT program are based on favorable impressions made during
a camper’s time at High Meadows, achievements in the Knighthood
Program, and expressed interest on the part of the camper.
